SCOUTS BSA TROOP 10 (G):
Empowering girls to aspire to earn the rank of Eagle Scout while preparing for life through outdoor adventures, leadership development, community service, and the acquisition of valuable life skills.
About Troop 10
Troop 10 is a Scouts BSA (Boy Scouts of America) Troop serving GIRLS in Santa Barbara, Goleta, Montecito and Carpinteria.
Troop 10 was founded in 2019 as a female BSA Troop after the Boy Scouts of America allowed girls to join and pursue the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in the BSA program.
Troop 10 was established by an Assistant Scoutmaster from the local BSA Troop 4, who as a parent of both an Eagle Scout son, and a daughter, wanted to offer girls the same opportunity to earn the prestigious Eagle Scout rank. Her daughter became the first female Eagle Scout in Troop 10.
We invite girls aged 11 and up to join Troop 10 and become part of a supportive, close-knit group of young women who love planning outdoor adventures, building camaraderie, and serving their community. While our troop is girl-led, adult support is needed in providing the guidance and resources needed to help the girls thrive and achieve their goal of earning the Eagle Scout rank. Come be part of Troop 10 that fosters leadership, growth, and lasting friendships!
